Splenic infarction secondary to probable scrub typhus

A mite‑borne infection, scrub typhus is endemic in India. It causes a myriad of complications with multisystemic involvement like meningoencephalitis, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), myocarditis and also known to cause abdominal hepatomegaly, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, pancreatitis, renal failure. Among the organs, splenic considered be very rare usual presentation such cases splenomegaly. Splenic infarcts are lesser complication which has been sparsely reported literature.
